The sun is shining as I meet Dave C half way up the main street in Clovelly, it is some climb to start the day and we are not even on the official path yet. What a day it was to be, a tough Sunday walk that is for sure, but probably the most contrasting day on the path to date. Fields, dramatic cliffs, wooded sections, some very big climbs, dramatic rock formations, and goodbye to Lundy Island which has kept me company for the last four days. So I am turning South towards Cornwall. A beautiful day, with a very poignant end, when I chat to Andrew Wilson with whom we have been crossing paths with all day. Andrew is walking the path for the charity 2Wish that has helped him cope with the tradegy of his son losing his footing and going over a cliff edge whilst walking with his Dad. Top man Andrew and the pain was very obviously still very raw.
