The Big Walk Day 3 Lynton To Combe Martin

A tough day today, the path in its rawest, big climbs and decents, exposed narrow cliff paths, the beauty of the English Coastline in its finest. Solo for the first Day with Kev heading home, what a great two days we shared. Lovely start out of Lynton, high up along the cliff, and then the drop and accent around the valley of the rocks. Big climb through Woody Bay, a spectacular up and down at Heddons Mouth and the climb to the highest point on both the total coastal path and Exmoor, at Great Hangman. Some wonederful people craeting memories, all happy because the sun has been kind to me once more. One couple even offered to put me up for three nights and move me to each start point. There are some lovely people out there trust me. Some great animal encounters today. And the milage total now has a five instead of a six. Only 595 Miles to go !!!!!!!!!!!

Into Combe Martin,  my first sight of a caravan park
Great Hangman the highest point of the entire South west coast path
Some woollen friends
Odd sign
Some more wolly friends
