The path showed its true credentials today, a mile and a half continuous climb out of Porlock Weir, 2.5 Hours before we saw anyone. A long wooded section followed by up and down, with a long drop into Lynton. Such a different section, with amazing views at the end, and some tough walking. My wingman Kev, leaves me here so flying solo for two days. Porlock was a lovely village, Myrtle Cottage a wonderful guest house, Tyrone and Neil great hosts. Lynton and Lynmouth again full of lovely people. so 12 miles covered, but more like 16 in steps.
