A night in Minehead, nice typical seaside town from a bygone era, but lovely people, decent offerings for food and drink and we managed to watch the RNLI in action, fantastic people, who deserve our respect. Lesson 1, if you want an early and good nights sleep do not stay in a pub showing the football, full of builders spending their bosses money.
Then a stunning walk out of Minehead to Porlock Weir, big climb out of Minehead and a big drop back down at Bossington Hill, which i managed to slide down on my backside for 30 feet. Ego bruised more than my body but a lesson to concentrate when the going gets tough. Great end at Porlock Weir, The Ship Inn and a Pint of Rattler. Some lovely people met on the first day, Wales to the right (across the Bristol Channel), and Exmoor to the left. When I learn to add photos they will be here.
