Day 13 Crakington Haven to Trebarwith Strand. Another tough stretch

Mt first solo day in 8 days feels a bit strange as I head out of the pretty Crakington Haven, under heavy skies. A big climb to the aptly named High Cliff, the highest cliff face on the SWCP, the decent down feels almost vertical, this path is not for the faint hearted. A lovely waterfall at Pentergon is difficult to photo, but the sun is now out and the sea colours are magical for some reason. The path drop down into Boscastle the village that was all but washed away in 2004, the topography confirms how this could have happened. A pretty village, lots of visitors, so I am out of there quickly. Now heading for Tintagel, it is noticeable how the rock formations have changed and there is an abundance of sea birds. Into Tintagel, possibly a day late as it was St Georges day yesterday, bit too disneyland for me, and then on to a short section of known path bringing me into Trebarwith Strand. Another 22 K day and a welcome rest at the Port William.
